Defend and Restore Gender-Affirming Care for Trans Youth! This is a new priority campaign of Pittsburgh DSA for Spring 2026. We aim to restore, defend, and support access to gender affirming healthcare for people 19 and under by pressuring local healthcare providers who have cut off this vital care, by educating our members and our broader community on the importance of gender affirming care and how to access it, and by raising mutual aid funds.

This call is for members of the Priority Campaign Steering Committee to meet and go over progress of the campaign. It is open to all DSA members and coalition partners who are interested. We will be setting future dates for this meeting and more general campaign update meetings as well.
